Welcoming the easing of Restrictions

We are thrilled to be getting a degree of normality back in our lives here at The Hatchery.. and to have had some new and old faces to greet.

The easing of restrictions on first accommodation for recreation and holiday and now on inter-provincial travel has seen us have some very busy weekends and we are really grateful for this. Note if you are reading this we are open for business as usual and we look forward to seeing your face come up the driveway.

Some news and images from the past 2 months:

We had Kevin-Minter Brown from DYR 1051FM stay with us and produce the promo video below that showcases our new YouTube channel. He had this to say about The Hatchery: "Thank you Hatchery for having us. Honestly, I had no idea how sublime this spot is. So close to Durban and yet a million miles away. A slice of unspoilt paradise."

We have a new camping accommodation option in our raised tents called "Mom's Night Out" and "Dad's Night Out" respectively. These tents look over the lagoon, have very comfortable beds and are situated near the ablutions. The are perfect for overnight stays or to put the kids into for an adventure stay. See rates and more info here: Mom's Night Out / Dad's Night Out

In early August we had a visit from our website developer and his family for the day to celebrate his son's 7th birthday. The little guy was extremely happy to be there and said it was his best birthday ever.. With bike riding, canoeing, SUP boarding, Krispy Kreme (not supplied by us), walk on the beach and swim in the surf (and the adventure getting there), boerewors roll braai and swimming in all the pools. The adults were extremely impressed with The Hatchery having only seen the pictures before.. The scenery is indeed phenomenal. Images below by John Cawood from Alliance Graphics.

We were also fortunate enough to have Local microlighter Yolanda Kruger and friends taking advantage of the lovely weather we have been having and sending us some images from the above.

We are loving the mild winter weather we have been having - check out Facebook Page for more images.
